Early life and Education

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 28^th October 2003, AJ Lukau is a young, self-driven individual with wisdom beyond his age.

AJ completed his primary schooling at the prestigious Crawford International Preparatory located in Sandton, Johannesburg, later going on to join British International College, in which he would complete both year 8 and 9 in the same year.  

Upon completing this, AJ would move to Lonehill International Academy, in which he would remain until gaining his International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). In 2021, AJ completed his AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A (Advanced) level education, gaining his AICE (Advanced International Cambridge Examinations) diploma.        

Ever pursuing academic excellence, AJ is currently working toward his bachelor’s degree in business management at the University of Winchester, United Kingdom.

Crowning Achievement

Dedicated to his passion of helping young men and woman around the world become the best versions of themselves, in October 2018, AJ, aged 15, published his first book, Be You Be Cool: The Ultimate Teenage Guide.

Be You Be Cool: The Ultimate Teenage Guide is a self-help book directed at today’s youth, aimed at addressing the key fundamentals to creating a life of excellence. With thousands of copies sold since its launch, the Be You Be Cool movement has changed the lives of thousands of young people across the globe.

In addition to celebrating many public speaking, academic and sporting achievements, AJ lives a life dedicated to God and the passion he has for Christ is evident in his way of life, disciplined and always seeking to live Godly principles, with his father, Ps. Alph Lukau, being his mentor and role model, shaping who has become as a young man. AJ holds his father as a confidant and best friend.

Aspirations

In addition to currently pursuing a degree, AJ has aspirations of becoming a business mogul, acclaimed author, and Pastor. AJ is also currently working on his second book, anticipated to be released towards the end of 2023. By all accounts, he is regarded as a trendsetter and inspiring leader among his peers, amassing a large global audience across various social media platforms.

AJ’s love for literature and art is poured into this first book “Be you. Be cool: The ultimate teenage guide” the first of many books that he has lined up. Currently, AJ enjoys a number of hobbies ranging from martial arts, football, video production, photography, reading and travelling.
